Finance plays a critical role in business operations and is an integral part of everyday life. The Minor in Finance offers students the opportunity to develop financial expertise through coursework in business finance, financial markets, and investments.
The minor has two distinct tracks鈥攐ne tailored for business majors and another for non-business majors鈥攖o better meet the diverse academic and professional needs of students. For both groups the minor will enhance their resume and help students to find jobs directly and indirectly related to finance. Even students who don鈥檛 want to pursue a career in finance can benefit since they need to communicate with the financial department on many projects in the workforce.
In addition, the minor prepares students to make their own financial decisions better. The Minor in Finance provides students a strong foundation for long-term success.
