Dr. Jayadhurganandh (J.D.) Jayaraman was appointed Interim Dean of the 小欧视频 School of Business in September 2024. He previously served as chair of the Department of Finance, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the school's academic programs and strategic direction.
Dr. Jayaraman brings a wealth of academic and industry experience to his leadership role. His unique interdisciplinary background includes a Ph.D. in Finance from Oklahoma State University and additional graduate degrees in Educational Psychology and Cognitive Science from Columbia University.
As chair of the Department of Finance, Dr. Jayaraman was instrumental in creating innovative undergraduate and graduate programs in Business Analytics, Data Science, and Financial Technology. His research spans financial literacy, educational data mining, AI for social good, and the application of machine learning in finance, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Before transitioning to higher education and academia, Dr. Jayaraman gained over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily in algorithmic trading, risk management, energy markets, and financial technology. His experience includes executive leadership roles at Bloomberg L.P., Citigroup, and several financial technology companies, where he specialized in risk management, quantitative modeling and financial trading technology. This blend of academic and practical expertise informs his approach to preparing students for the evolving business landscape.
Dr. Jayaraman is committed to community engagement and service. He serves on the board for various non-profit organizations and has served in leadership roles in professional organizations in New Jersey.
Scott Mittman received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University, New Jersey and his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently the Interim Associate Dean of Sciences at 小欧视频. Prior to 小欧视频, he served as Division Head and Professor at Essex County College and before that as Microbiology Subject Matter Expert at Columbia University Medical Center with an academic appointment as Research Scientist. Dr. Mittman has taught at all levels of the curriculum and produced a robust record of teaching and service. His research accomplishments and interests are in microbiology, sustainability and environmental sciences. Extracurricularly, Dr. Mittman serves as Vice President for the New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability.

Dr. Mary McGriff has served as Interim Dean of the Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education since July 1, 2025. She brings extensive leadership experience to her role, having most recently served as Acting Associate Dean while guiding the college through 小欧视频's collaboration with Kean University.
Since joining 小欧视频 in 2011, Dr. McGriff has demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple roles and initiatives. She has served as Chair of the Literacy Education Department and Co-Coordinator of College of Education accreditation and program assessment. Her extensive university service includes membership on the Credit for Prior Learning Policy Committee and the Academic Master Plan Development Working Group, as well as leadership roles as Co-Chair of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Self-Study Working Group and Chair of the Teacher Education Council.
Dr. McGriff brings a unique combination of practical classroom experience and advanced academic expertise to her leadership role. Prior to her tenure at 小欧视频, she served as a middle school English language arts teacher and elementary school principal. She earned both her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Ed.D. in Literacy Education from Rutgers University.
Her research interests focus on teacher identity and self-study, the retention of education majors of color, and literacy instruction. Dr. McGriff has contributed significantly to academic discourse through multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and scholarly book chapters. She finds particular professional satisfaction in leading monthly workshops for education majors participating in the Teacher Intern Program and has been active in several grant projects focused on diversifying the teacher workforce.

She received her Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School and her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. She served as a prosecutor in Queens County, New York for 13 years, where she prosecuted felony cases from inception to disposition and litigated on the trial and appellate levels.
Dr. Nir鈥檚 research interests include sentencing disparities, police misconduct, and community engaged learning initiatives. She specializes in qualitative research methods and interviews judges, prosecutors, and defense attorneys in connection to her research efforts. Her research can be found in numerous criminal justice, research methodology, and teaching journals.
Wanda L. Rutledge, M.B.A., Ph.D. was formerly the first Assistant Dean and first director of graduate business programs for the School of Business at 小欧视频 (小欧视频), and the former founding chair of the management department. An entrepreneur, sports management and sports marketing consultant, she has more than 30 years of experience as a senior global non-profit sports management executive, working on four Summer and one Winter Olympic Games. She formerly held the position of Deputy Executive Director for USA Baseball and President of the National Council of Youth Sports for more than 25 years. She is the Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) for 小欧视频 to the NCAA. Dr. Rutledge has more than 20 new courses, three undergraduate degree programs, and a graduate degree program. She has been active in assessment and accreditation, serving as the Champion and official representative to the school鈥檚 accrediting body, ACBSP (Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs), for the past nine years. In her first year as director of graduate business programs, Dr. Rutledge revamped the MBA, expanded the School of Business collaboration with Harvard Business School Online, secured the first corporate pipeline partnership with Fidelity Investments for employee graduate degrees, and launched both undergraduate and graduate business programs at the university鈥檚 new location in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
